I was lucky enough to be able to visit the Sahara a few weeks ago, in Morocco, (before the outbreak of the virus). One of the highlights for me was riding a camel into the sunset and seeing the beautiful light and hearing the silence all around me, silence I rarely hear during my life in New York City. During scary times like now, I try to think of that silence and how funny looking the camels are (and the funny noises and smells they emit) and it helps me feel calmer to realize that the world will go on, we will always have the sunrise and the stars in the sky and innocent animals to connect with. And EACH OTHER to connect with. Your mentors need you more than ever right now just as you need us, since many of us are quarantined. So we are thinking about you every day and sending love!
