Giraffes are the tallest animals in Africa with extremely long necks and legs. They always reach for the best leaves at the top of the trees. They have a vision in life – to go further than ever imagined possible. When the giraffe lowers its neck to drink, it loses sight and that is a reminder to us – always lift your head no matter how big your problems. Remember what Mike Lipkin said, “ If you can reach where no one else can, then you can eat like no one else can.”
We also need a clear vision in our lives. We have to take a step back and view the bigger picture. We need to view the past and the present objectively, whilst looking towards the future. Dissatisfaction and discouragement are not caused by the absence of things but by the absence of vision. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be. You have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars and to change the world. Never stop defining your vision of what life could be. Create a picture of every aspect of your dream life – visualise it, feel it and dream it. The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they exist.
Vision is essential to our dreams and future but it demands action. Vision precedes substance. No vision – no passion or hope. No acting – no vision. There are times that you will be in a pit, but you have to believe that you will get through the pit and out of the pit.
No matter how a person is, he too can see the sky. – African proverb
Never give up your visions and your dreams – it is the key to your future.

What can we do to make it easier to stretch and remind ourselves of our life vision the next time we are sad or feeling helpless?

1. I think what clouds our vision of the future is negativity, people tend to doubt themselve, they tend to think that they don’t have potential because of other peoples negativity towards them
2. We must stretch our mind, we must think out of the box, because, when not doing so, we won’t see the bigger picture
3. To make it easier to stretch and remind ourselves of our life vision when feeling sad or helpless, talk to some you trust and maybe they can motivate you into feeling better, but if you prefer not talk to someone, you can just read motivational quotes or watch motivational videos, if that doesnt work then you can just do what you love
