Net Blazer Participation Agreement

I understand that:

I have a responsibility to complete all the courses for each learning pathway I undertake.

This is a great opportunity for building my career and I have a responsibility to give back to the Infinite Family community as deemed necessary by the organization.

Infinite Family will require me to undergo a criminal background check to be eligible to use the resources they offer.

Infinite Family may also terminate this agreement if I have behaved inappropriately or if I misuse resources meant to develop young people in my community.

Dropping out of the program without valid reasons will taint my reputation and negatively affect references when I apply for jobs.

I agree to:

Complete as many pathways as possible.

Download each certificate that I achieve and email it to Infinite Family staff.

Inform Infinite Family staff if I am unable to attend my scheduled classes. If I have a valid reason, this will be considered an excused absence.

Use Infinite Family computers solely for my GSISA classes, education and job-related research. I will not try to access inappropriate websites. Accessing websites with inappropriate content is considered inappropriate behavior and is a strong reason for Infinite Family to end my opportunity to participate or improve my skills further.

Complete follow‐up surveys and respond to correspondence in a timely manner.

Continue to be part of Infinite Family’s Net Blazer (alumni) group beyond any formal classes and to contribute to activities aimed at inspiring existing and new Net Buddies across Infinite Family’s sites as one way of giving back to Infinite Family.

Give one (1) hour of voluntary work to Infinite Family for every five (5) hours of classes completed and I will participate in one or more of the following activities as directed by Infinite Family without any reimbursement:

- Recording short videos for the promotion of Infinite Family’s work.
- Cleaning the Launchpads.
- Assist with training of new Net Buddies.
- Participate in motivational career development sessions with the Net Buddies.
- Assist the Net Buddies with school work and career planning.
- Other

Protect myself and others against the Coronavirus or any other infectious diseases by adhering to the precautionary measures as stipulated in the national guidelines - wearing a mask, sanitizing hands and observing social distance at the Infinite Family mentoring labs.

ATS pays about R250 for each examination for the following learning pathways for each student:

- Data Analyst
- IT Administrator
- Software Developer

If I do not take the exam for the above pathways, I will be liable to pay back the R250 to ATS in full.

Honor all commitments made to Infinite Family and its partners in the program.

I understand that I am a big part of making my future happen and that doing all of the above will help me to work towards success and opportunities for career development.

Waiver

In consideration of my acceptance as a student/trainee, I hereby agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Infinite Family its agents, affiliates, and sponsors from any and all claims for any and all expenses, personal injury, loss or damages incurred or caused by me during or in connection with my studies/training. I grant full permission for Infinite Family to use photographs, portraits, films and videos of me and quotations made by me in legitimate accounts and promotions of Infinite Family and its partners.

Pledge of Confidentiality

While I am interacting with Infinite Family, I may learn certain facts about individuals being served that are of a highly personal and confidential nature. Examples of such information are medical condition and treatment, finances, living arrangements, employment, sexual orientation, relationships with family members and the like. I understand that all such information must be treated as completely confidential. I agree not to disclose any information of a personal and confidential nature to any person not also affiliated with Infinite Family and authorized by Infinite Family to have such information without the specific consent, in writing, of the individual to whom such information pertains.
